From 2 March 2026, VETASSESS will require multifactor authentication (MFA) for its Agent Login Portal to strengthen data security and protect sensitive client information from unauthorised access.
The change forms part of the organisation’s ongoing efforts to safeguard externally accessible systems and enhance protection of personal and professional data. The new security measure will apply to all users accessing the Agent Login Portal.
MFA adds an extra verification step during login. In addition to entering an email address and password, users must complete a second verification check before gaining access to their accounts.
Under the updated process, the system will send a verification code to the user’s registered email address after they enter their login credentials. Users must input the code to confirm their identity and proceed.
VETASSESS said the added layer of security will help prevent unauthorised access, protect confidential records and ensure secure access from any device or location.
The update takes effect on 2 March 2026. Clients working with registered migration agents or migration lawyers are advised that the change strengthens account security and supports the protection of sensitive application information.
