VETASSESS has issued over 360 verified migration digital badges to applicants who achieve a successful skills assessment outcome, expanding its credential recognition system for qualified professionals.
Successful applicants will continue receiving official outcome letters confirming their assessment results. They will also be granted a VETASSESS digital badge linked to their assessed occupation. Some occupations may receive co-branded credentials developed with industry peak bodies.
The badges are hosted through My eQuals, a secure digital credential platform that stores verified academic and professional records. Holders can share their credentials through professional networking sites such as LinkedIn or present them directly to employers and stakeholders.
Each digital badge contains detailed credential information, including the occupation assessed, issuing organisation, and assessment result. The credential also shows the competency standards satisfied, evidence reviewed during evaluation, the skill level determined, and the time taken to complete the assessment process.
A secure web-enabled verification link is embedded in every badge, enabling employers, recruiters, and other parties to confirm authenticity instantly. The system aims to improve confidence in recognising certified skilled workers and enhance transparency in workforce credentialing.
Applicants who receive a positive assessment outcome will be notified via email from VETASSESS and My eQuals with instructions on accessing and displaying their digital badge.
The initiative is designed to support skilled migrants by strengthening professional recognition and helping industry and employers consistently identify verified talent.
